HOMS Real Estate Services Corp. ("HOMS", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It is intended to comply with Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
1. What we collect
- Contact details you submit via forms (name, email, phone, message).
- Property addresses and details you enter into our tools.
- Analytics data (page views, country, referrer) via privacy-friendly analytics.
- If you create an account and sign in, basic first-party activity tied to your account (sign-ins and which tools you use) to operate, secure, and improve the service. This uses no third-party tracking cookies.
- If you register for sold-listing access, your name, email, phone number, accepted terms and confirmation dates, and a log of your sold-listing searches and access.
2. Why we collect it
To respond to you, deliver the requested service, improve our tools, and comply with our obligations as a licensed real estate professional in British Columbia.
3. Who we share it with
We share information with service providers necessary to operate the site (hosting on Cloudflare, transactional email delivery, analytics) and our brokerage where required for transactions. Sold-listing registration and access records may also be disclosed to the participating real estate boards and their authorized representatives for VOW compliance audits and enforcement.
4. Retention
Contact records: up to seven years (CRA / brokerage compliance). Tool inputs: deleted within twelve months unless tied to an active client engagement.
Sold-listing registration records are kept for at least 180 days after access expires. Related access logs are retained as required for VOW compliance audits.

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time by emailing privacy@homsgroup.ca.
